I joined the astronomy news group to do a segment on Astronomy Club. We had the opportunity to interview astronaut Jerry Carr and talk with Brianna. It was really awesome going into the observatory to get b-roll and setting up interview locations. We did Brianna's interview first, we planned to do it by the observatory. On the day of the interview, it was raining outside so we moved into the library. We had everything set up ready to go and then it started pouring. Even though we did not plan to have the interview inside, it still went smoothly. We interviewed Jerry Carr at his apartment building's library. It went really well, but we noticed when we got back the sound was a bit weird. Luckily these changes have been fixed on Final Cut. It was awesome how we helped each other out and worked well as a team. We all just took a position and stayed with that spot throughout. I mainly stayed on the lights, Brianna helped set up camera, ask questions during the interview, edit; Will and Sydney helped set up the tripod, sound, and set up the shots.
